Paw Paw Road Property, Hancock County, TN - Project Surveyor
Under contract with Country Places, Inc, provided a boundary survey of a 58-acre wooded tract in Hancock County, Tennessee, and prepared a plat cutting the property into six tracts ranging in size from 5.0-acres to 13.8-acres. Under a contract with Clark, Geer, Latham & Associates, Inc., prepared a boundary/topographic survey of property located on Hunter's Crossing Drive, Alcoa, TN . The survey plat was prepared meeting the 2011 “Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys” and was utilized for site plan design for a national retail store. (2012)

Netherland Inn Road Roundabout, Kingsport, TN
Under contract with Lyons Construction, provided construction surveying services for the construction of the new roundabout at the intersection of Netherland Inn Road, Center Street, and Industrial Drive. Responsibilities include site layout of all sub-surface utilities, centerline alignments, and curb line. Lyons Construction was provided with grade sheets and sketches for all points set (2011)

John Sevier Combined Cycle, Rogersville, TN
Under Contract with URS Corporation, provided monitoring surveying services for settlement of 8 tank foundations at the TVA John Sevier Combined Cycle Power Plant, located in Rogersville, Tennessee. The purpose of the monthly monitoring was to verify that the settlement of the tank foundations were even, and at the anticipated design rate.  A report was provided showing the elevations measured during each trip, and the difference in the elevation measured from the base elevation established at the beginning. Energy Solutions, Oak Ridge, TN
Under contract with Falin Enterprises, Inc, provided construction surveying services for the construction of a 1350-ft access road at the Energy Solutions, Oak Ridge Tennessee site. Falin Enterprises was provided with site benchmarks, centerline road stakes, along with grade sheets and sketches for all points set. (2010)

Julliard School/Alice Tully Hall, New York, NY
Under Contract with London Fischer, LLP, prepared surveys, reports, and testified as an expert during the arbitration process for a suit by Turner Construction Company and Lincoln Center Development Project, Inc., to recover construction cost overruns caused by a surveying error. The case was settled during arbitration. (2007-2010)

Stewart International Airport, Newburgh, NY, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
While employed by Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, and under a term agreement with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was responsible for preparing an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey of the 2,400-acre tract encompassing Stewart International Airport, in the Towns of Newburgh and New Windsor, New York.

Flushing Town Center, Queens County, New York
While employed by Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, and under contract with Urbitran Engineering, responsible for the review and oversight of the monitoring survey of an elevated MTA subway and Vehicle Bridge and additional retaining walls within close proximity of a 32-acre construction site. The purpose of the monitoring survey was to determine if any of the structures were moving or settling during pile driving at the construction site. This project required the setup of a permanent robotic total station, computer with GeoMos program, and Internet connection to remotely monitor 29 prisms placed on the steel structures and concrete retaining walls. Continuous automated monitoring was completed for 6 weeks prior to construction to generate a baseline for comparison, to establish any movement. Unmanned automated monitoring was recorded and processed each day and a report was automatically created and sent daily over the Internet to our office location 50 miles from the site. Lower Manhattan Rehabilitation, New York, NY
While employed by Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, and under a term agreement with the New York City Department of Design and Construction, I was responsible for overseeing the field survey, calculations, and mapping of over 8.3 miles of streets in lower Manhattan. The mapping for this project had to meet the strict standards of the New York City Department of Transportation. This project involved the establishment, location, and mapping of all right-of-way lines, property lines, surface features, and subsurface features including utilities with spot elevations and capacities. The mapping required the preparation of profiles of the street centerline, curb-lines, back of sidewalk and of the subsurface storm and sewer lines.  The purpose of the mapping is for the design of the reconstruction of the street and infrastructure. FEMA Flood Studies, Northern New Jersey
While employed by Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, responsible for the quality control of the surveying and mapping activities related to providing cross sections of the river bottoms and hydraulic structures of portions of 9 rivers in 3 major drainage systems throughout northern New Jersey. Data was provided to Natural and Technical Hazards Management Consultants, Inc and AVF Design, Inc., to re-assess flood plain elevations and locations for the FEMA’s Map Modernization Program. (2004-2005)

Astoria Tunnel Project, Cimarron Engineering. Astoria, Queens, NY
While employed by Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, and under a contract with Cimarron Engineering, I was responsible for all Surveying and Mapping services for the design and construction of a 36-inch gas main through the Astoria Tunnel, running 200-ft below the East River, between the Boroughs of Queens and Manhattan. The project was completed for Consolidated Edison Company of New York. Cimarron Engineering was provided with baseline control points, detailed 3-dimensional mapping, and cross sections of the two vertical shafts at either end of the tunnel and of the tunnel itself. Mapping was also prepared of all the apparatus inside the head houses and all the utilities within 200-ft of the head houses on both ends of the tunnel. The Astoria Tunnel project was the recipient of the New York ACEC Diamond Award for Engineering Excellence in the Surveying and Mapping category. (2004)

World Trade Center Disaster Recovery Effort, Borough of Manhattan
While employed by Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, and under a term agreement with the New York City Department of Design and Construction, I was responsible for overseeing the survey crews at the World Trade Center Disaster Site.  Survey crews were utilized for the monitoring of standing and hanging debris, building remains slurry wall, crane pads and other various structures for settlement and movement helping assure the safety of people on the site. I also assisted with setting control points and layout of site features to help expedite the rescue effort. Safety in the Trenches article in POB Magazine, January 2003.
